Mother and daughter injured in hit and run incident

Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit run incident involving a woman and child in Co Londonderry on Tuesday.

The incident, which occurred on a by-pass in Limavady shortly before 5pm, left the woman and her two-year-old daughter injured after their vehicle was hit by a passing Jeep.

The Jeep then failed to stop making off in the direction of Coleraine.

Police Officers Injured After Hit-And-Run Incident In Crossmaglen
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after two officers sustained injuries when a vehicle they attempted to stop collided with their patrol car in the early hours of Sunday 01 October on the Concession Road, Crossmaglen. At around 12.20am local neighbourhood officers attempted to stop a car, a grey coloured Audi A6.

Police officer injured in hit-and-run incident
A police officer has been injured after being hit by a car in south Belfast last night. The officer was on duty at University Street at around 11pm when a blue Honda Civic car knocked him down and proceeded to drive over him. The vehicle then made its was up the Malone Road in the direction of west Belfast.

Man Seriously Attacked In West Belfast
A man has been seriously attacked in west Belfast. The assault happened on the Andersonstown Road on Monday, 27 March. The victim, aged 30, was getting out of his car when two men hit him on the hand with a machete and punched him in the face. He was taken to hospital to be treated.

Man Killed In Coleraine Road Collision
A man in his 70s has died in a collision in Coleraine. The Land Rover Jeep he was driving hit a tree on the Curragh Road just after 3pm on Tuesday, 07 March. The man died at the scene. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them. Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald sent her condolences. She said: "Any death on the road is one too many.

Appeal After Police Cyclist Struck In Belfast Hit And Run Incident
The PSNI are appealing for information after a police cyclist was struck in a hit and run incident in Belfast. The incident happened in the Wellington Place area at around 1.30pm on Saturday, 26 December. The police cyclists was hit by a car that drove on without stopping.
