Omagh Hospital Evacuated Over Chemical Leak- Reports

A chemical leak is the reported reason behind the partial evacuation of Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex this morning.

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene today while some patients and staff were evacuated to facilitate assessment.

No patients came to harm during the operation, and full access was restored later in the afternoon.

The hospital was fully operational as of 2pm, the Western Trust has confirmed.

Lewis Capaldi To Return To NI With Huge Outdoor Gig

Lewis Capaldi is set to return to Belfast next year with a huge headline concert.

The popular Scotsman will perform at Belsonic in Ormeau Park on Sunday 21 June, and tickets are expected to sell out fast.

Lewis' debut album, Divinely Uninspred to a Hellish Extent, is currently the second highest selling album of the year in the UK.

He will also play two sold-out gigs at the Ulster Hall in November, before appearing at Dublin's 3 Arena next march.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, 27 September, at 9am from Ticketmaster outlets.

Iron Maiden To Headline Belsonic 2020 Show

Iron Maiden are set to play a headline show at Belfast's Belsonic in 2020.

The heavy metal stars will play Ormeau Park on June 15, one of only two homecoming UK festival performances of the the year.

A six-piece with over 90 million album sales and more than 2,000 live performances, tickets for the gig are sure to sell-out fast.

Remaining Tickets For BBC Sports Personality Of The Year To Go On Sale
The final remaining tickets for BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015 will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 27 November. A limited number of tickets will be available for the event to be hosted at the SSE Arena, priced at £45 and restricted to six per person. Comic Frank Carson Dies Aged 85
Belfast-born comedian Frank Carson has died aged 85 after suffering from poor health over the past 12months. Carson best known for his catchphrases 'it’s a cracker' and 'it’s the way I tell em' passed away at his home in Blackpool, Lancashire.
