Concern Grows For Man Last Seen In Belfast

The family of a man who has been missing for a week after he was last seen in Belfast are becoming increasingly concerned for his whereabouts.

Matthew Jamison was in Belfast City Centre on Monday 02 September and has not been seen since. Police believe he may have travelled to London.

Matthew is described as 5'11" and of slim build with short dark ginger hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a navy overcoat, chinos and carrying a suitcase.

Anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 663 of 05/09/2019.

The concerned family issued the following statement through police: "Matthew - if you see this, please contact us. You are not in any trouble, we just want to make sure you are safe."

Man Missing In Belfast
A man has been reported missing in the Belfast area by his family, who police say are concerned for his welfare. 18-year-old Matthew Bateman was last seen on Friday in the Botanic Gardens area in the south of the city. Mr Bateman is originally from the Bangor, County Down area.

Two Arrested Over Christmas Murder
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man just before Christmas, police have confirmed. Matthew Goddard, 41, was found dead at his home in Chobham Street at around 9.40am on 24 December. He was last seen alive the previous evening. Police have said he died in a "sustained and brutal attack".

PSNI Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Belfast Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 31-year-old Conor Bradley. Conor was last seen on Saturday, 29 January. He is described as 6'6", of slim build with ginger hair. He is believed to be in the Belfast area, according to police. Anyone with any information about Conor or his whereabouts is urged to contact police.

Mark Allen Retains Title
Northern Irish Snooker Player Mark Allen has won the the Haikou World Open in China for the second successive season. Allen, 27, defeated Matthew Stevens 10-4 to win. "To win the same tournament two years in a row is a great achievement and I'm happy to retain my title," said Allen. "The snooker wasn't as good as I had hoped.
