Man Critical After Co Fermanagh Collision

An elderly man has been left in critical condition after his bicycle was involved in a collision with a tractor in Brookeborough, County Fermanagh.

The 73-year-old sustained serious head injuries in the crash on the Skeoge Road at around 1pm on Saturday 07 September.

It is understood his bike collided with a JCB tractor.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives on 101.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The one-vehicle collision happened on the Tattymacall Road in Lisbellaw at approximately 5.10pm on Monday, 05 September. The road has been re-opened. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Convicted Sex Offender Hands Himself In To Police
A convicted sex offender who was unlawfully at large in England has handed himself in to Northern Ireland police. PSNI appealed for help in finding Fermanagh man James Taggart last week, reporting he was seen recently in the Essex area. The 27-year-old handed himself into a PSNI station yesterday, Monday 26 July.

Heavy Rain Warning Issued For NI
Heavy persistent rain has been forecast for Northern Ireland this weekend. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain from 6pm on Friday 30 August until 9am on Saturday. Counties Antrim, Fermanagh, Tyrone and L'Derry are set to be the worst affected, with flooding of a few homes and businesses likely.

Power Restored To Thousands Of NIE Customers
Power has been restored to thousands of NIE customers after they were left without electricity caused by Storm Doris. Around 24,000 consumers were affected and emergency teams worked to repair the damage on Thursday, 23 February. The key areas affected were Counties Fermanagh, Armagh and Down.

NI Temperatures To Reach 25 Degrees
Temperatures in Northern Ireland are to reach 25 degrees today, making it the hottest day of the year so far. However, thundery showers are expected to develop in Counties Fermanagh, Armagh and Down mostly confined to the southern hills this afternoon, according to the Met Office.
