Police Seek Man Over Blackmail
Police investigating a reported blackmail earlier this year are seeking a man who they believe "may be able to assist with their enquiries".
Officers are hoping to identify the individual, who was in the Ormeau Road area on Monday 04 February, around the time of the alleged offence. They have released a statement along with a photo of the man they wish to speak to.
Detective Constable McMahon said: "The identification of this individual is of vital importance to this investigation. Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who can help identify this individual or who has any details in relation to the incidents referred, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 352 05/02/19.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
