Arrest Over North Belfast Arson
A man has been arrested following an arson attack in north Belfast.
An unoccupied property in the Herbert Street area was targeted at around 7.30am on Sunday morning, 01 September.
Police and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and ruled the blaze to be deliberate.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 565 of 01/09/19. Details can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack at a block of flats in Limavady. At around 3.30am on Thursday, 20 July, police received a report that an oil tank at the block in the Glenview Drive area was on fire.

Police have launched an investigation following a suspected arson attack at an apartment block in north Belfast. Bins were set alight in the amenities area of the apartment block in the Edlingham Street area on Tuesday. The NIFRS and police attended the scene and put the blaze out.

Bar In Coleraine Targeted In Arson Attack
A bar in Macosquin, Coleraine, has been targeted in an arson attack. The premises, located on Dunderg Road, was targeted at around 2.15am on Tuesday, 04 July. Two residents managed to extinguish the fire at the front door before emergency services attended the scene.
