Appeal Over Aggravated Burglary In Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in south Belfast.

Two men gained entry to a flat in the Wolseley Street area at around 3am on Monday morning, 26 August. It's believed they were disturbed by an occupant of a nearby flat.

Police are hunting two suspects.

The first is described as being around 6ft in height, of slim build, with dark short hair and clean shaven. He is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured hooded coat with a green lining, white top, dark track bottoms and dark trainers.

The second male is described as being 5'10" in height, of slim build, with blonde short hair and clean shaven.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 255 of 26/08/19.

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information to help trace missing 17-year-old Chelsea McGarry. Police believe she may be with Daire McIlroy, 21, as there was a possible sighting of the pair in Dublin on 01 April. Police in west Belfast are appealing for information concerning the disappearance of a teenager who has not been seen since August 4. Martin Begley, 15, was last seen in the Somerton Road area of the city shortly before midnight. He is described as being 5'8" in height, of slim build, dark hair and swarthy complexion.

Man Suffers Facial Injuries In Belfast City Centre Attack
A man is recovering after he was attacked by two men in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Sunday 13 January. The victim, aged in his 30's, was attacked in the Donegall Place East area at around 3.10am. He was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries.
