Pair Arrested Over Omagh Assault

Two men have been arrested following an assault in Omagh earlier this month.

A physical fight between two males occurred in the Hunter's Crescent area of the town on the evening of Friday 09 August.

Police said the altercation broke out on the doorstep of a house at around 11pm.

Constable Primrose said on Monday: "A 26 year old man, subsequently arrested on suspicion of common assault, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

"The 19 year old was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

"We are appealing to anyone with information to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 2460 of 09/08/19."

16-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Race Hate-Related Assault
A 16-year-old make has been arrested in connection with a race hate-related assault on the Falls Road. A 15-year-old was assaulted in the incident on Tuesday, 06 August. Man Charged Over Vehicle Hijacking In L'Derry
Police investigating the hijacking of a vehicle in L'Derry have charged a man with a number of offences. The 26-year-old is accused of common assault, driving whilst unfit and using a motor vehicle without insurance, in relation to a hijacking in the city on Monday 04 March. He is due to appear at L'Derry Magistrates Court today, 06 March.

Six Men Arrested Over Serious Sexual Assault
Six men have been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in south Belfast. The attack is believed to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 19 September. An investigation has launched and the suspects are helping the PSNI with their enquiries.
