Warning For Heavy Rain & Floods This Weekend
After a week of glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures, the weather is set to change for the weekend with heavy rain expected.
Northern Ireland's beaches are likely to clear out after the Met Office issued a yellow weather alert for rain and possible flooding.
The warning is in place from 9am on Saturday 27 until 3pm on Sunday 29 July.
The heavy rain may lead to flooding and possible travel disruption in a few places, with a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
Difficult driving conditions may result from a build up of spray on the roads, with a chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater also predicted.
Northern and eastern parts appear to be the most affected and temperatures over the weekend are forecast at around 18 degrees.
