Castledawson firm secures major contracts

A Castledawson company specialising in electronic car parking systems, gate automation and electronic security systems has secured contracts worth over £600,000 with companies in the Republic of Ireland.

The contracts for Hydraulic and Electromechanical Automation (HEA) include the new ‘Park and Ride’ car park scheme in Cork City that recently came into operation with the assistance of a bespoke car parking solution developed by the company.

The Invest NI backed company has also won the contract to install the new town centre electronic security System in Maghera, and recently was awarded ISO 9000:2000 and the National Approval Council for Security Systems Gold Standard in Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control.

Commenting on the news, Stephen Clark, managing director of HEA said: “We’re delighted with these recent contracts which will help to raise our profile in the RoI market. I believe our success stems from our ability to use software technology to provide tailor-made solutions for our customers, as well as a reputation for product quality, particularly in terms of durability, reliability, consistency, and after-sales backup.

HEA employs 30 staff operating from its premises in Castledawson and has recently established satellite offices in Dublin and Cork.
