BCC Offers Tendering Support For Local Firms

Belfast City Council is offering local businesses and social enterprises the opportunity to enhance their tendering and procurement performance through a free programme.

Entrepreneurs are expected to increase their chances of winning funding through the scheme, as over £280 million continues to be invested through public procurement each year in the UK.

Small to Medium Enterprises win over 80% of public tenders in the UK and Ireland, and the programme will ensure all eligible applicants are benefitting.

Huge opportunities also exist in the private sector in areas including aerospace, aviation, construction, energy, health, marine and transport.

The training will cover:

• identifying sources of information on bid pipelines, and live bid events

• making the right decisions about which bids to pursue

• improving your bid content; and ultimately, your bid outcomes.

These skills will be developed through a series of tailored workshops with experienced bid specialists providing mentoring. Hands on support for live tenders is also on offer.

Register online today to secure your place.

This project is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Northern Ireland (2014-2020) Programme.
