Brexit Planning Workshops To Assess Trading Impact For Firms

Businesses are set to gather at a post-Brexit planning workshop held in Belfast ahead of the UK's planned withdrawal from the EU on or before 31 October 2019.

As negotiations continue, the session will focus on trade arrangements within the UK's exit agreement as well as transitional plans.

Two sessions are planned for the coming months, on 19 July and 23 September, from 9.45am-5pm at Ulster University, Belfast.

The workshops will assess the implications for existing export and import businesses in relation to trade with the EU member states and also with the rest of the world. It is intended to provide exporters and importers with the knowledge to prepare for different Brexit outcomes, in the medium and longer term, and offers a checklist of practical steps to anticipate changes and take advantage of opportunities.

The course is applicable to all areas of international trade and will follow various approaches, including the present situation, how best to anticipate the future, implications for international trade, securing the supply chain and preparation for exporters and importers.

Places can be reserved online.
