Investigation Launched Into Sudden Death In Portadown

An investigation has been launched into the sudden death of an elderly man in Portadown.

It is understood that the man, aged in his 80s, was found dead at a property in the Levaghery Gardens area by emergency services shortly before 5pm yesterday, Wednesday 13 June.

According to reports, a woman also aged in her 80s, was also found at the property and was taken to hospital, where her condition is described as stable.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out on the man to establish the cause of death.

Investigation Launched Over Banbridge Death
An investigation has launched in connection with the death of a man in Banbridge. The body of a man, aged in his 50s, was found at a property in the Millmount Court area on Monday, 09 July. His death is being treated as suspicious. A post-mortem examination is to be carried out. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Two Men Arrested Over Alleged Death Threats To Darren Kelly
Two men have been arrested over alleged death threats sent to Oldham manager Darren Kelly from Northern Ireland. Greater Manchester Police arrested a 27-year-old man and 42-year-old man on suspicion of making threats to kill. They are being detained by the police for questioning.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.
