Arrest In Lyra McKee Murder Probe
A man has been arrested under terrorism legislation by police investigating the murder of Lyra McKee.
The 46-year-old was arrested after the PSNI carried out searches at properties in the Northland Road and Creggan areas of L'Derry.
He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
Lyra, a 29-year-old journalist, was shot in the head when a gunman opened fire during a night of dissident republican rioting in the Creggan area on the evening of Thursday 18 April.
Police said they believe the New IRA were behind the attack, and the group have since admitted responsibility for the murder.

Two Men Arrested Over Lyra McKee Murder
Two more men have been arrested in connection with the death of Lyra McKee. The journalist was shot dead while observing dissident republican rioting in April 2019 in the Creggan Estate in L'Derry. Police investigating Ms McKee's killing arrested two men, aged 44 and 53, in L'Derry early this morning.

L'Derry Properties Raided In Lyra McKee Murder Probe
Police have carried out a number of searches in L'Derry this morning as part of the investigation into the murder of Lyra McKee. A number of items were seized and taken for further examination, however no arrests were made. Ms McKee was shot dead in Creggan on Thursday 18 April during a night of dissident republican rioting.

Man Jailed In Connection With Lyra McKee Murder
A 29-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years in jail in connection with the murder of Lyra McKee. Niall Sheerin appeared before Laganside Court today, Wednesday 14th September. He was sentenced to seven years having pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm and ammunition.
