Pair Charged With GBH After Newry Assault
Detectives investigating an assault in Newry on Monday morning have charged two men with grievous bodily harm with intent.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was found unconscious in a car park in the New Street/ Sugar House Quay area at around 2.25am on 03 June.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
The two men, aged 29 and 34, are set to appear at Armagh Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 04 June.

Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Guns stolen in Co Antrim assault
Police are appealing for information after a gang assaulted a man and stole his guns in Co Antrim. The masked men forced their way into the man's home in Burnbrae in Bushmills at around 1.30am on Tuesday morning. They hit the man before tying his hands behind his back and escaping with three guns.

As of the end of June 2018, more than 200,000 patients (73.2%) were waiting more than nine weeks for a first consultant-led outpatient appointment, according to the latest quarterly Northern Ireland Waiting Times Statistics. The statistics have been published today by the Department of Health.
