Arrest As Shots Fired At Lisburn House
A number of people have managed to avoid injury after a series of shots were fired at a property in Lisburn.
Police have launched an investigation after the incident on Tuesday night, 28 May. A house in The Green area was targeted at around 11.30pm.
One man, aged 27, has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and possession of a firearm and is currently in police custody.
Detective Sergeant Perks said: "Everyone has a right to live in a safe and stable community and this type of senseless and reckless criminality will not be tolerated.
"There were a number of occupants in the property at the time and fortunately nobody was injured as a result of this reckless act.
"I would ask - did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area; did you see any suspicious vehicles? If you did, please come forward and speak to detectives at Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 2373 28/05/19."
Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police received a report that sometime after 4.30pm and before 9pm on Thursday, 1st December, a sum of cash was taken from a property in the Alanbrooke Avenue area.

Appeal Issued For Missing Lisburn Man Thomas McKeown
The PSNI in Lisburn have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas McKeown. The 52-year-old was last seen at around 11.12am in the centre of Lisburn on Tuesday 11 June. Police said that Thomas is a "vulnerable adult" and they are keen to trace his current whereabouts.
