Golden Eagle Missing From Antrim Sanctuary

The search is continuing for a golden eagle after the bird escaped its sanctuary in County Antrim.

The golden eagle, known as Griff, escaped his enclosure at World of Owls in Randalstown on 23 May during cleaning.

Griff is believed to be within a one to 10 miles radius of the rescue centre.

A number of volunteers have joined owner Mike Gibb to search for the bird.

Sightings have also been reported since his escape, but he is yet to be found.

Anyone with any information or who happens to spot the golden eagle is asked to contact Mike Gibb via the World of Owls Facebook page.
