Appeal After Co Down Collision
Police are seeking witnesses to a collision in Bangor, County Down this afternoon, Tuesday 28 May.
The crash happened at the Rathgael Road roundabout at around 12.15pm.
Anyone who witnessed, or may have recorded the incident on a dash cam is asked to contact police on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference number CC2019052800875.
Snow Patrol To Return To Belfast Next Month
Following a huge gig in Bangor's Ward Park last weekend, Snow Patrol have been confirmed as part of the line up for the Other Voices music series in Belfast next month.
The three day event will be held at the Duncairn Centre for Culture and Arts from 14-16 June.
Also on the programme is folk singer-songwriter Joshua Burnside and four-piece band The Academic.
Gary Lightbody and Snow Patrol will perform an acoustic set.
Acclaimed arts festival and TV series Other Voices is a marquee event that will feature sets from some of the most exciting and internationally renowned performers on today's music scene. The weekend will also include workshops, advice clinics and mentoring sessions for aspiring young musicians.
Comber Road Scheme Enters Next Phase
Work has begun on the next phase of a resurfacing scheme in Comber, Co Down.
The £220,000 project began on the Glen Road on 29 April, with work progressing to the second phase yesterday, 27 May.
The work will extend a distance of approximately 920 metres and includes 600 metres of footway.
To facilitate the work the Glen Road will be closed to through traffic from its junction with Ballystockart Road to its junction with Railway Street from 9am to 4.30pm on weekdays from 27 May 2019 to 21 June.
During the closure times a two-way diversion will be in place via Railway Street, Ballygowan Road, Hillsborough Road, Moneyreagh Road, Gransha Road and Glen Road.
The scheme is expected to be complete by 21 June.
Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
