Police Seek Help Tracing Missing Greenisland Man Mervyn Brown

Police are appealing to the public for help tracing a man missing since Monday.

Mervyn Brown, from Greenisland, County Antrim was last seen in the Steeple Road area of the town at around 8.30am on Monday 29 April.

He is described as being 5'9" tall and is believed to have been wearing a blue washed-out jacket, a dark coloured hoody and dark shoes with a white sole.

His family are growing increasingly concerned for his whereabouts.

Police are appealing to Mervyn to make contact, or for anyone with information to contact them on 101.

Pedestrian Killed In Road Collision In Randalstown Named
A pedestrian who died in a road collision in Randalstown has been named as 56-year-old Mervyn Millar. Mr Millar died on Tuesday, 31 October, as he was walking on the Porglenone Road, close to a primary school, at around 1.15am. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Casino Lobbies Council For Larger Venture
UK casino operator, the Rank Group, has held talks with city Councillors over proposals for a larger venue if they are allowed to open in Belfast. The group is currently lobbying the council for a change to the law in Northern Ireland that would allow them to open a new casino in the city. It is claimed the venture could create up to 400 new jobs.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Renewed Appeal For Missing Teenager Rosaleen Connors
Police in east Belfast have renewed an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Rosaleen Connors, who has been missing for two weeks. Rosaleen was last seen in the Sydenham Road area on Monday, 07 October, at approximately 9:30 pm.
