Shots Fired At House In Lurgan
Police are investigating after shots were fired at a house in Lurgan this morning.
Officers attended the scene in the Forest Glade area of the town early on Tuesday 23 April.
A statement from the PSNI later said that enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information, who was in the area at around 1.45am or who saw or heard anything suspicious is urged to call police on the non-emergency number 101.

A man is receiving hospital treatment after being attacked by a dog in Banbridge, Co Down. At around 10.50am on Monday, 03 October, police received a report that a man had been attacked by a dog in the Lurgan Road area. Officers arrived at the scene and brought the dog under control.

Fresh Appeal For Information On Shane Whitla Murder
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of 39-year-old Shane Whitla in Lurgan have issued an appeal for information and witnesses. A post-mortem examination confirmed that Mr Whitla died of a gunshot wound to the chest. According to report, he had also suffered a serious puncture wound to his neck.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
