Suspicious Object Sparks L'Derry Security Alert
Families have been evacuated from their L'Derry homes amid reports of a suspicious device in the area.
A police operation in the vicinity of Clon Elagh, just off the Skeoge Road, was sparked this afternoon, Monday 15 April, after an object was discovered.
Local residents have been asked to evacuate the area as a precaution.
Police are at the scene.

A security alert in Armoy, County Antrim has sparked considerable anger after residents were evacuated from their homes overnight. A police operation got underway at around 4.50am on Saturday morning, 31 August, following a report of a suspicious device in the Fair Hill Street area.

Homes Evacuated In West Belfast Security Alert
A number of homes have been evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious object in west Belfast. The object was found in the Slieveban Avenue area of Andersontown at 11.30am on Wednesday 07 November. No main roads have been affected by the security alert. There are no further details at this time.

Residents have been evacuated from their homes following a security alert in L'Derry. Homes were evacuated on Thursday afternoon following reports of a suspicious object in the Southway area. Army bomb disposal experts and police are at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.
