Armed Masked Gang Target L'Derry Home
Detectives are appealing for information after a gang of masked men armed with iron bars burgled a property in L'Derry last night, Tuesday 09 April.
Police said a house in Creggan Heights was targeted just after 10.40pm. One man sustained facial injuries in what is being treated as an aggravated burglary.
The masked intruders are believed to have fled on foot in the direction of Rinmore Drive.
The victim, a man aged in his 30s, required hospital treatment while two others, a man and a woman, were uninjured but left shaken after the "frightening ordeal".
Detective Inspector Michael Winters said: "Our enquiries are ongoing, and I want to appeal to anyone who was in the Creggan Heights area prior to, or around the time the incident was reported to us and saw a number of males in the area acting suspiciously, or anyone who has information which may assist our investigation to call detectives at Strand Road on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1482 of 09/04/19."

A man and woman have escaped injury after shots were fired at a house in south Belfast. They were inside the property in Powerscourt Place when the attack was carried out at approximately 10.25pm on Wednesday 31 October. Two shots were fired and two windows were damaged.

Police have launched an investigation after a house and car were damaged by a gang, believed to have been armed with sledgehammers, in north Belfast. The incident happened at residential premises in the Dhu Varren Parade area at around 10.30pm on Friday, 10 November. No-one was injured in the incident.
