Wintry Weather Set To Return

The nights may be brighter but it appears the winter weather hasn't left us just yet, with temperatures across Northern Ireland set to plummet this week.

The latest Met Office forecast said that icy patches and wintry showers will hit some areas this evening, 01 April, with temperatures dropping to -1.

Although Tuesday will be brighter, heavy and wintry showers are possible with snow on the hills. Some isolated thunder and light winds can also be expected, with a maximum temperature of 9C.

The second half of the week appears to have a similar outlook, with another few rainy and cold days ahead.
