Police Appeal After Attempted Robbery In Belfast
Detectives investigating an attempted robbery in Belfast are appealing for witnesses.
It follows an incident at a bar in Wilson's Court on Monday 25 March. The suspect approached a man drinking in the premises at around 7.30pm, producing a knife and demanding his wallet.
The culprit made off on foot after the potential victim stood up to challenge him.
Heading in the direction of High Street, the suspect is described as being in his mid-20's with ginger hair, of slim build, wearing a grey zip up hoody and carrying an orange bag.
Detective Sergeant Conlan said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the bar and saw the suspect, who we believe was in the premises for some time before the incident, to contact detectives at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1260 25/03/19."
Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous.

A man armed with a knife has threatened staff and demanded money during an attempted robbery in west Belfast last night, Tuesday 11 September. The suspect entered the commercial premises on the Springfield Road at 10.10pm. One of two staff members who intervened sustained a cut to a knuckle. The suspect left the premises empty handed shortly after.
