Masked Men Armed With Knife Rob North Belfast Business
Detectives are appealing for information after an armed robbery in north Belfast last night.
Two masked men entered a premises, while armed with a knife, on the Ballysillan Road shortly before 9.40pm on Wednesday 13 March.
The culprits threatened a staff member, who was alone at the time, with one going around the back of the counter and taking money from the tills.
The men then made off down the Ballysillan Road, leaving the employee uninjured.
One male is described as 6' in height, wearing a black puffer jacket with the hood up and a grey scarf covering his face. He also wore light woolly gloves and dark tracksuit bottoms and is thought to be around 20 years old and of a thin build.
The other male is described as 5'7'' in height with a black and grey hooded jacket, also wearing a grey scarf over his face and a light coloured baseball cap. This male is thought to be around 16 years of age and of thin build.
Detective Sergeant Fairfield said: "Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, saw two males matching the descriptions or who saw anything suspicious in the area at around 9.40pm last night to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1341 13/3/19."
Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100%.

Suspect Charged Over Maghera Robbery
A man has been charged after a filling station was robbed in Co Londonderry. The theft happened on 5 February in Maghera. Police said a number of masked men armed with handguns were involved in the incident. The 48-year-old male has been charged with robbery and firearms offences.

Detectives in L'Derry are appealing for information following an armed robbery that on the evening of Saturday 11 January in the Park Avenue area. At about 20:40, two males entered a commercial premises and demanded money. One of the robbers was armed with a wheel brace. The pair made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Upper Nassau Street.
