Police Appeal After Thieves Target Coleraine School
Police have appealed for information after goods worth £2,000 were stolen from the grounds of a grammar school in Coleraine.
Loreto College was targeted sometime between Sunday 10 and Monday 11 March.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Unfortunately someone or some persons decided it would be a lovely idea to break in to the groundsman hut and steal a number of items to the estimated value of £2000."
A heavy duty 24v battery, a Mikiti grey and blue leaf blower, an orange grass strimmer and a red and grey coloured Snapper lawnmower are among the items taken.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity is asked to contact police on non-emergency line 101, quoting serial number 216 of 11/03/19.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.
