Man And Woman Charged With Clogher Murder

A 23-year-old man and 33-year-old woman have been charged with the murder of Pat Ward in Clogher.

Mr Ward(30) was found dead in an alleyway on the morning of Saturday, 09 February.

The pair in question were later arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder.

PSNI were granted an additional 28 hours for questioning.

They will appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court today, 13 February.

Police Granted More Time Over Dissident Murder Probes
A further extension has been granted to the police investigating three dissident republican murders in Northern Ireland. The detectives have been granted a further seven days to question the suspects. A man and a woman are among those being held over the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll (pictured) in Co Armagh, as claimed by the Continuity IRA.

Police continue to question woman over murder
Police are continuing to question a woman in connection with the murder of a man on the outskirts of north Belfast last week. Geordie McDowell, 47, was found dead at his flat at Crossreagh Drive in the Rathcoole estate, Newtownabbey, on Thursday. Although a post mortem examination has been carried out, police have not revealed how the man died.
