Two men shot in separate paramilitary-style attacks

Two men have been shot in separate paramilitary-style attacks overnight.

At around 9pm, a 35-year-old man was found by police on the hard shoulder of the M2 motorway near Glengormley. He had been shot in both knees before being dumped on the carriageway. The victim is recovering in hospital.

At around the same time, a 19-year-old man was abducted from his home at Grace Avenue in east Belfast.

He was taken to an alleyway off London Road where he was shot in the leg.

He was later treated in hospital.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Shot Dead At Family Home In West Belfast
A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.
