Car On Roof After West Belfast Crash

A car has ended up on its roof right next to a bus stop in west Belfast.

The incident occurred during the evening rush hour on Thursday 07 February, with bus services being turned away from the closed Stewartstown Road.

The route has since reopened after the three-vehicle collision, but traffic was delayed in the area for some time.

Damage was caused to a bus and another car involved in the crash.

It is understood two men who were in the car fled on foot following the collision.

Translink Bus Strike 'Back On' From 17-23 May
The bus strike "is back on", the GMB Union has announced after their members rejected a revised pay offer. The union has said that drivers, cleaners and shunters across the company will walk out for seven days from 17 to 23 May 2022, "causing the entire bus network to grind to a halt".

Man Injured In East Belfast Collision
A man has been injured in a two-car collision in east Belfast. The crash happened on the Upper Newtownards Road just before 10.30am on Tuesday, 23 May. The man has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The road has been re-opened.

Second School Bus Crash Reported
Just weeks after a tragic school bus crash left a local child dead, a pupil from the same school has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a school bus, a 4x4 vehicle and a lorry. The accident took place in Augher, County Tyrone, and is understood to involve a bus carrying 16 pupils to St Ciaran's High School.

45-Year-Old Killed In Fatal Collision In Castlewellan
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Castlewellan, Co Down. A 45-year-old man, named by police as Gary Lennon, died after his BMW car crashed on the Dublin Road in Castlewellan at about 10pm on Thursday 31 May. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.

Man Killed In Car Collision
A man has been killed in a car crash in Londonderry. Two other people have also been injured in the accident, which happened after midnight on Thursday at Alder Road. Two cars were involved in the accident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
