Man Injured In North Belfast Assault

Police have launched an investigation after a man suffered facial injuries in an assault in north Belfast.

The victim, aged 32, was allegedly attacked on Sunday 03 February at around 7pm in the Upper Crumlin Road area.

A spokesman said: "The injured party sustained facial injuries as a result of the assault and we would be grateful for any witness to come forward with any information you feel may assist us in the investigation.

"Police can be contacted on 101 or through crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Quote reference number 7 of 04/02/19."

It happened close to the junction of Lavens Drive and the Crumlin Road.
