Vicious Attack Leaves Woman With Brain Bleed
A woman has been left with serious injuries in hospital after she was brutally attacked last weekend.
Police said the female was walking in west Belfast early on Saturday 19 January when three unknown females carried out the unprovoked attack.
"Her head was stamped on during the assault causing her to lose consciousness, she has been left with a number of injuries including a bleed to the brain," a PSNI spokesperson said.
The attack happened on St James Crescent, while the woman was walking in the direction of St James Road at around 9.35am.
The culprits are described as being in their late 20's or early 30's and "all dressed as if they hadn't got changed from being out the previous night".
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on non-emergency line 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police Issue Appeal To Help Trace Missing 12-Year-Old Boy
Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing 12-year-old boy who was last seen leaving school in Bangor at around 2pm on Monday, 23 September. Kai Oldham was wearing a navy P.E kit and a grey jacket but may have since changed his clothing. Anyone with information is being asked to call 101 quoting reference 1922 of 23/09/24.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.
