Woman Seriously Assaulted On Boxing Day By 'Several Men'
The PSNI has issued an appeal as part of an ongoing investigation into an assault on Boxing Day, Wednesday 26 December, when a woman was seriously assaulted.
The victim was attacked on High Street, Holywood, at around midnight.
Officers said there were several people at the scene at the time to witness the violent act.
In a social media post, PSNI Hollywood said: "During the incident a woman was seriously assaulted and it is believed she was attacked by several men.
"We believe that there were several people at the scene at the time to witness this assault that are yet to be identified. We would ask that anyone that was there get in touch with us via 101 quoting CC2018122700009.
"If you wish to provide information anonymously you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800555111 or send us a private message to either our Bangor or Ards FB page."

Police have revisited the scene of a serious sexual assault on a woman in south Belfast. The incident occurred in the Upper Malone Road area on Wednesday 16 September. The woman, in her 20s, was attacked by a man as she was walking along a pathway from the Upper Malone Road to Ramore Park.

The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.

Man Shot Dead In Ballymoney
A man in his 40s has been shot dead in Ballymoney, Co Antrim. The incident happened outside a house at Riverview Park at around 10.30pm on Monday (5 January). He has since been named as Brian McIlhagga. He was 42. He had been beaten by an armed gang and shot once in the leg. The father-of-five, originally from Ballymena, died from his injuries.
