Major Investigation Launched As Man's Body Found In L'Derry

Five people have been released on bail pending further enquiries into the death of a man in L'Derry.

Officers cordoned off a house in the Lincoln Court area shortly after 10am on New Year's Day, after a body was found in a house in the estate.

Access to two laneways leading to the property was blocked as well as a number of cars parked in a square to the rear of the house.

The PSNI arrested the four men, aged 63, 33, 32 and 31 and a 32-year-old woman on Tuesday 01 January. They have all since been released on police bail.

A post mortem is due to take place to determine the cause of the man's death.
