Valuable Items Stolen From North Belfast Home
The PSNI has issued an appeal for witnesses to a break-in that happened in broad daylight after valuables were stolen from a north Belfast home.
It is believed the home in Cooldarragh Park was broken into between 12 o'clock and 3pm on Wednesday 19 December.
A jewellery box, containing a gold-coloured watch and bracelet have been reported as missing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police using the non-emergency line 101 quoting reference number 235 20/12/18.
Alternatively, witnesses can pass information to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous.

Armed Men Ransack South Belfast Home
Three men, two armed with a crowbar and a screwdriver, have ransacked a house in south Belfast. A 26-year-old man was in the property in Melrose Street at around 11am on Saturday at the time. The intruders ordered the resident to place a pillow over his face and they ransacked the property. The men left with a laptop.

Elderly women confronted by robbers
Police are appealing for information after a woman and her elderly mother had their east Belfast home robbed last night. Three men entered the house at Ranleigh Street, off the Ravenhill Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday.

Police are treating an attack on a house in north Belfast as a hate crime. Masked men smashed the windows at the front of a property in the Crumlin Road area just after midnight on Wednesday. Three men fled from the scene on foot. A police spokesperson said: "This incident is being treated as a hate crime and enquiries into the matter are ongoing.

One dies and another injured in house fire
Police believe the fire which killed a man in his north Belfast home early this morning was started deliberately. The house at Woodvale Avenue was well alight by the time police and fire crews arrived at the scene at around 12.30am on Wednesday.
