NI Farmer Killed By Bull

A County Antrim farmer has died following an incident involving a bull.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a report at around 8am on Wednesday,12 December, and rushed to the farm on Killycarn Road, Aughafatten, near Broughshane.

The Air Ambulance also attended the scene.

The victim has been named locally as James Gibson who was in his late 60's and died when he was struck by the animal.

The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland said inspectors were at the farm following the accident and will continue to investigate what happened.

Man Dies Following Farm Accident
A man has died following a farm accident in Dromore, Co Tyrone. It is understood the man was involved in vehicle maintenance when the incident happened on the Aghadulla Road. A tractor is thought to have been involved in the accident. The Health and Safety Executive has said it is investigating. No further details are available.

PSNI Granted Extra Time To Question Man Over Fatal Stabbing
Police have been granted extra time to question a man arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Belfast. Hazem Ahmed Ghreir, aged in his 30s, died following the incident in the Downshire Place area on Sunday, 04 June. Police have also released an image of the victim on behalf of his family.

Pensioner Dies After Road Crash In Co Fermanagh
A pensioner has died following a three-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Drumwhinny Road in Kesh at around 4pm on Saturday, 08 October. The victim, aged in his 70s, died in hospital on Monday, 10 October. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Nelson Cheung
A 24-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung. The 65-year-old restaurant owner died following an assault on the Caddy Road in Randalstown on 8 January. His wife was also injured when Mr Cheung's car was forced off the road. The man was arrested in Antrim on Tuesday.
