NI Drawn With Holland And Germany In Euro Qualifiers
Northern Ireland have been dealt a tough hand in the UEFA European Championship qualifiers.
Michael O'Neill's side were placed alongside Holland and Germany, as well as Estonia and Belarus in the draw that took place in Dublin on Sunday 02 December.
The team's opening four games will be against the two lower ranked nations in March and June 2019, with some hoping that Northern Ireland can secure some early points before facing Germany in September.
The Republic of Ireland were initially in Group C, but cannot compete in that draw, due to there being too many host countries in one group.
They will now play in Group D alongside Switzerland, Denmark, Georgia and Gibraltar.
Northern Ireland lost to Germany in the 2018 World Cup qualifier, as well as in the 2016 Euros.
Holland last faced Northern Ireland in June 2012 and won 6-0.
