Over 100 Youths Involved In South Belfast Disturbance

More than 100 young people have engaged in a night of disorder in south Belfast, sparking anti-social behaviour warnings from the PSNI.

Following several nights of organised violence in the Donegall Pass and Ormeau Road areas, the latest incident escalated shortly after 8.30pm on Monday 26 November.

Three vehicles were damaged in the disturbance, in which those involved were reported to be carrying sticks, golf balls and broken bricks.

Police have urged parents to keep their children away from the area, and said the greatest concern about the behaviour is the threat of "serious injury".
