Man Dies After North Belfast Crash
A man has died following a serious collision with a bus on the Antrim Road on Thursday 22 November.
Police had closed the busy route in both directions for most of the morning and into the early afternoon.
A number of schools were also closed for the day as a result.
North Belfast MLA Nichola Mallon extended her condolences. She said: "My thoughts go out to the man's family and friends at this extremely difficult time, and to all those involved in this incident."
Police Inspector Robert McMurran said an investigation has been launched.
"A man has died as a result of the incident. A sudden death investigation is underway. There are no further details," he added.
A Translink spokesperson said: "We can confirm a route 1J metro bus was involved in a serious Road Traffic Incident at Grays Lane on the Antrim Road at 6.25am this morning.
"We are investigating and are assisting the PSNI with their enquiries."

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
