Man Charged With Attempted Robbery Of Belfast Hotel
A man has been charged with the attempted robbery of a hotel in south Belfast.
The incident took place in the University Street area at around 3.45am, on Sunday, 18 November.
The 43-year-old man, who was armed with a hammer, left the scene empty-handed, in the direction of the Ormeau Road.
No staff were injured.
The suspect will appear in court today, Wednesday 21 November.
All charges are being reviewed by the Public Prosecutions Service (PPS), as is normal procedure.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.

Seven Charged With Strickland Murder
A fourth man has been charged with the murder of Phillip Strickland in Comber last week, bringing the total to seven. The 36-year-old was found in a car on Quarry Road, off the Ballydrain Road, near Comber on Wednesday last. He had been shot several times and was declared dead in hospital a short time later.
