Northern Ireland In Goalless Draw Against The Republic

Northern Ireland's football team were left frustrated after a goalless daw against the Republic of Ireland last night, Thursday 15 November.

The teams played a friendly at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which saw Kyle Lafferty return to the pitch in the last 20 minutes.

Goalkeeper Darren Randolph made a string of saves to deny Northern Ireland a victory, with the best chance for the Republic coming from Robbie Brady, who was making his first appearance in over a year after suffering a knee injury.

Michael O'Neill's side are set to play Austria at Windsor Park on Sunday 18.
