81-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies Following Dunmurry Collision
An elderly man has died in hospital after he was knocked down in a collision in Dunmurry last month.
George McCaul and a young child in a pushchair were struck by a car on the Upper Lisburn Road on 21 October.
The 81-year-old victim was from the Twinbrook area of Belfast suffered serious injuries in the incident, for which he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that he passed away in the early hours of Thursday 08 November, and appealed to anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash or who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch in 101.

Staff held hostage during armed robbery
Detectives in Lisburn have appealed for information following an incident yesterday evening, in which four employees at a business were taken hostage and robbed. The incident happened just after 5pm, when up to eight masked men, armed with a shotgun and handguns, entered a business on the Upper Dunmurry Lane.

A man in his 20s has been killed after the car he was driving collided with a lorry on the outskirts of south Belfast on Friday morning. The incident occurred on the McKinstry Road in Dunmurry. It has been reported that a female passenger and the lorry driver have been treated in hospital for their injuries.

An investigation has launched after a three-year-old boy died following an accident involving a car near his home in Co Armagh. The collision occurred on the Boghead Bridge Road, Aghalee, just outside Lurgan on Tuesday, 25 May. The toddler was treated at the scene before being taken to Craigavon Area Hospital.
