Police Seek Help From Audi Driver After Fatal Crash
Police in Northern Ireland have issued an appeal for the driver of a white Audi to contact investigators examining the circumstances around a fatal crash in August.
Eamon McCafferty (58) died after he was hit by a car near Claudy in the early hours of Saturday 18 August.
Constable Joanne Boyd said: "Mr McCafferty was a pedestrian who was struck by a blue Hyundai I10 on the Forglen Road around 2am that Saturday.
"We are appealing to the occupants of a white-coloured Audi A4 which was travelling on the road from the direction of Dungiven towards Claudy between 1.55am and 2.10am to contact us as we believe they may have seen Mr McCafferty/ the blue Hyundai car prior to the collision."
The police also appealed to anyone who was on the road around the time of the collision or may have a dash cam fitted on their vehicle to contact them.

Police appeal for car accident witness to contact them
Police are appealing for a male cyclist who may have witnessed a road traffic collision in which one person later died to contact them. The victim, aged in his mid-20s, was walking along the Whitewell Road just before 4.30pm on Monday when he was struck by a red VW Vento car. He was taken to hospital where he later died.

Teenager Arrested After Two Police Officers Injured In Belfast
A 16-year-old girl has been arrested after two police officers were injured as trouble flared in Belfast overnight. Petrol bombs and masonry were thrown at the officers in the Woodvale Road area at around 12.50am on Wednesday. No petrol bombs made contact, however two police officers were injured after bottles were thrown at them.
