Armed Masked Gang Headbutt Woman During Belfast Burglary
A masked gang armed with hammers head butted a woman during a burglary in north Belfast on Wednesday night, 24 October.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in the Keadyville Avenue area at around 9.20pm.
Two of the suspects are reported to have assaulted a man inside the house with a hammer.
A woman, aged in her 20's, who was also in the property intervened and was headbutted, causing minor injuries to her mouth.
The man also sustained minor injuries and received hospital treatment.
Damage to a door and windows and a number of household items was also reported.
One of the suspects is believed to have worn a navy-coloured tracksuit with stripes along the sleeves and bottoms.
Detective Sergeant Michael Maguire said: "I want to appeal to anyone who was in the area between 9.20pm and the time the incident was reported to us who saw a number of men acting suspiciously."
Anyone with relevant information is asked to get in touch with police using the non-emergency line 101.

Woman Sexually Assaulted In Omagh
Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.

Teenager dies after being knocked down near sectarian interface
Police are investigating an incident in which a 16-year-old boy riding a bicycle was knocked down and killed in Belfast. The teenager, named as Thomas McDonald, received serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where he later died. Police have arrested a woman in connection with the incident.
