Techstart Academy Announce Product Management Workshop

The Techstart Academy has announced an event in Belfast on 22 November, which aims to "bring to life" the fundamentals of product management and best practices to drive product success.

During the information event, being held at The MAC in Belfast, participants will be able to explore:

• tools and techniques from industry experts on how best to manage your product

• what is a product manager and what do they really do

• how a product manager can help you obtain product market fit, and much more

The event will feature three speakers: local product managers Emma Mulholland and Graeme Stuart, and a special guest, Mark Cusack of Teradata, the leading data analytics company based in the US. The speakers will talk about their experiences and challenges in designing, managing and building successful products.

Ernco Group Announce Expansion Plans
County Fermanagh firm Ernco Group (Erne Management) is to invest £250,000 in its business over the next three years. It also plans to create three new jobs as part of a strategy to increase sales of its traffic management products in the Republic of Ireland.

Belfast Software Firm Secures Export Contract
Belfast-based Sysco Software Solutions has secured business in the Republic of Ireland worth over £500,000 with support from Invest Northern Ireland. This success follows the company's investment last year towards the research, development and marketing of a new software application for the emerging cloud services sector.
