Man Dies In Lisnaskea Road Crash

A man has died following a collision in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, on Monday evening.

The incident occurred on the Moorlough Road at around 9.45pm. It involved two cars and a van transporter.

A woman was taken to hospital for treatment although her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are currently appealing for witnesses. Inspector Jonathon Gordon said: "We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or anyone who may have captured the incident as dashcam or helmet-cam footage."

The incident happened in the Fair Hill area of Magherafelt shortly after 4.30pm, when an elderly man was struck by a vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital, where he received treatment for a fractured skull.

Renewed Appeal For Witnesses Following Disturbance At Ormeau Road Parade
An appeal for witnesses following a disturbance during a Junior Orange Lodge parade in south Belfast on Tuesday, 29 March, has been renewed by the Police Ombudsman. A police officer discharged CS spray at the parade on the Ormeau Road, and the policing watchdog has been contacted by almost 40 people about the incident.

Police revisit scene of fatal hit and run incident
Police investigating a fatal hit and run incident in County Antrim on Boxing Day are to revisit the scene. The incident happened on the Randalstown Road area of Antrim at around 3.15pm on the afternoon of December 26, when 58-year old cyclist Seamus Graffin from Oriel Road in the town died after being involved in a collision with a white Audi.

Ombudsman investigates weekend road death
The Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for information following a fatal road traffic accident in Londonderry, at the weekend. Noel Doherty, 23, from Drumleck Drive in the Shantallow area of the city, died after his car struck a tree on the Culmore Road at around 3.30am on Saturday morning.
