£40,000 Worth Of Drugs Seized In West Belfast

Drugs worth an estimated street value of £40,000 have been seized in west Belfast.

Detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unite seized suspected cannabis, cocaine and LSD during the search of a property in the Rossnareen Avenue area on Tuesday, 28 August.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B controlled drugs and possession of class A and B controlled drugs with intent to supply.

He has been taken to Musgrave Police Station to be questioned.

A man has been arrested after suspected cocaine, estimated to have a street value of between £60,000 and £80,000, was seized in Holywood, Co Down. Police stopped and searched a car in the Church Road area, near the A2, on Thursday afternoon. The car and two mobile phones were also seized.

Man Charged With Drugs Offences In Co Antrim
A man has been charged with drugs offences in Co Antrim. The 42-year-old man was charged after police seized £30,000 of suspected herbal cannabis in the Ballymoney area. He was arrested on the Frosses Road on Monday. He has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

Two people have been arrested after police seized drugs, worth an estimated street value of over £1,300, in Co Armagh. Suspected cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy were discovered during two house searches in Markethill on Thursday night.

Paramilitary Task Force Charge Men Over Drugs Offences
Detectives from the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force have charged two men with drugs offences. It comes as part of an investigation into the activities of the south east Antrim UDA. A 41-year-old man has been charged with possession of Class A and B drugs and is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 24 May.
