Security Alert In Lurgan Ends
A security alert in Lurgan has now ended.
The alert came into force following a report that several explosive devices had been left in the Lake Street area on Thursday, 02 August.
The railway line was forced to close during the alert.
Nothing suspicious has been found and the trains are now back on.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

Rasharkin Security Alert Ends
A security alert in the village of Rasharkin, County Antrim has ended after two viable pipe bomb devices were found. Both were recovered from Moneyleck Park last night, Tuesday 16 April. One was left on the windowsill of a property while another was thrown through a front window.

Ballymena Security Alert Ends
Controlled explosions have been carried out by a bomb squad in Ballymena, County Antrim, after a suspicious device was found under a car. A security alert was declared in the town after the object was discovered below the vehicle, when it was placed on a lift at a garage.

Police have said a security alert in Maghera, Co L'Derry, has ended. They have declared the alert a hoax. A suspicious object was discovered in the Sunnyside Drive area of the town on Friday. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene. The object was later declared a hoax.

Sion Mills Security Alert Ends
A security alert in Sion Mills has ended, with a suspicious vehicle removed for further examination. Dozens of residents in the Co Tyrone village were evacuated from their home last night. People living on Seein Road were alerted yesterday evening. Army bomb disposals experts moved into the area, where a suspicious vehicle had raised concerns.
