Thousands Of Cigarettes Seized In West Belfast
Thousands of cigarettes have been seized during searches in west Belfast.
Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force carried out searches at three commercial properties on Wednesday, 01 August.
The items seized included 4,320 cigarettes and 1.55kg of hand rolling tobacco, worth an estimated £2,000 in lost duty and taxes.

Man Charged Over £60k Cannabis Find
A man is facing charges for drugs offences after police seized around £60,000 of cannabis in County Down. The drugs were discovered during a vehicle stop and search in Moira on Thursday, 19 September. Detectives have charged the 49-year-old man with possession and possession with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug.

Man Charged With Drugs Offences In Co Antrim
A man has been charged with drugs offences in Co Antrim. The 42-year-old man was charged after police seized £30,000 of suspected herbal cannabis in the Ballymoney area. He was arrested on the Frosses Road on Monday. He has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

10.8 Million Cigarettes Seized By HMRC At Belfast Port
His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) are investigating following the seizure of 10.8 million illegal cigarettes at Belfast Port, in a joint operation with Border Force on 20th June. The cigarettes have a total worth of £5.3 million in unpaid taxes and were found packed in cardboard boxes in a container that Border Force had already scanned.

Smuggled cigarettes seized at Belfast International Airport
Customs Officers have netted around 300,000 cigarettes in an operation at Belfast International Airport (BIA) carried out this morning. Customs assisted by police detected the cigarettes on flights arriving from Spain and the Canary Islands, a haul which would have amounted to approximately £50,000 in lost revenue.
