Cyclist Left With Life-Changing Injuries Following Collision

A 38-year-old cyclist has been left with "life-changing injuries" following a collision with a car during a time-trial race on the A26 Antrim to Ballymena road.

According to reports, the cyclist is paralysed from the waist down as a result of a collision with a black Honda CR-V Jeep on the Lisnevenagh Road at about 10.30am on Sunday, 10 June.

It is understood police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and have issued an appeal for witnesses to contact them.

The driver of the Honda Jeep remained at the scene of the collision and is helping police with their investigation.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
