Elderly Man Left Shaken Following Attack In Co Tyrone
An elderly man has been left shaken following an attack at his home in Co Tyrone.
The assault happened in the Drumcairne Road area in Stewartstown just before 11am on Monday, 23 July.
Two men entered the property, attacked the homeowner and smashed up his home before making off.
One of the suspects has been described as being around 40 years of age, with a full facial beard, around 5ft 9ins in height,and was wearing a yellow fluorescent jacket with jeans. He spoke with a local accent.
The second man has been described as around 40 years of age and he was wearing a jacket and jeans and spoke with a local accent.
The victim was treated for minor injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".

Police Appeal After Shots Fired At Car In L'Derry
Police are appealing for information after shots were fired at a parked car in Dungiven, L'Derry. The attack happened just after 10pm on Monday in the Hass Park area. According to police, a man wearing a hooded top fired two shots at the parked car, which was empty at the time of the incident.

An overnight fire has left a woman in hospital. Meanwhile, in separate incidents, a private home and a soccer club has been hit by blazes, and a barn has been destroyed. A fire, at a terraced property on Moat Road, Ballymena saw a female rushed to hospital after being rescued from her house in the Co Antrim town, the fire service said.
